Tulips
Tulips are beautiful flowers that grow from bulbs. At Lucy's Florist, we sell fresh tulips as cut flowers all year around, and tulip pot plants at various times during the year.
Most tulips produce only one flower per stem, and they come in a variety of colours such as white, yellow, orange and red as well as jewel like tones such as purple and pink. both the petals and leaves are fairly waxy, and the stem is flexible.
Tulips thrive in cooler weather and are most beautiful when the colour is showing strongly on the petals and they are starting to open.
